Scripture: Genesis 2:2; Exodus 16:26; Matthew 11:28; Mark 2:28; John 19:30; Hebrews 4:3; Hebrews 4:9; Ephesians 6:12; Isaiah 9:6–7; Revelation 21:1–22:5
Rest is not merely a blessing God gives. It is part of how God governs. In 22 chapters across seven parts, The Governance of Rest traces rest from Eden to the New Jerusalem: its loss in the Fall, its restoration in Christ, its pattern in the Tabernacle and the Promised Land, and its practice in leadership, marriage, family, revival and spiritual warfare. Each chapter ends with reflection questions, a prayer point and an action step. Suitable for personal study, small groups and ministry leaders.
